Brad Tucker
Brad Tucker is the Chairman of Mustang Cat, and Bluestem Equity Founding Partner.
In 1985, Brad joined Mustang Cat as General Counsel. He assumed the role of President and Dealer Principal in 2011 and has continued growing the company’s scope and influence within the heavy-equipment and power systems industries.
He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Pipeline Machinery International, the Caterpillar dealer which provides equipment and support to the mainline pipeline construction customers operating around the globe.
Prior to joining Mustang Cat, Brad practiced law at Wood Campbell Moody & Gibbs. He also has prior experience in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with high honors from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. degree from the University of Houston.
Brad is very active in the Houston community. He serves on the Texas Children’s Hospital board of directors where he is a former President and Chairman. He is also a director of the Brookwood Community and the Rise School of Houston.

Todd Fisk
Todd Fisk is Chief Executive Officer of Mustang Cat. He is responsible for ‘leading the leaders’ across all Bluestem portfolio companies, with an everyday focus on the executive and administrative functions of the company.
During his tenure at Mustang Cat, Fisk has held leadership positions that span each of the company’s divisions including machinery sales and rental, product support, power systems sales and administrative departments.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and is an active member of the community – involved in various charitable and educational organizations. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoorsman.

Sam Tucker
Sam Tucker is the Executive Vice President of Mustang Cat. He leads sales and customer-facing departments across all Mustang Cat divisions.
Sam’s previous professional roles have included work in Mustang Used Machinery Sales, the Caterpillar Marketing Training Program, Caterpillar Edwards Demonstration Facility, PipeLine Machinery International, Mustang Product Support Merchandising and Sales Management in our Power Systems Exploration group. Sam has also led closer coordination of our machinery/rental and financial marketing activities for the benefit of our customers, which he continues to do as Executive Vice President of Sales.
Outside of his responsibilities at Mustang Cat, he is a member of PipeLine Machinery International’s Executive Advisory Council and Strategy Councils.
Sam graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s in Communications and Business Management.

Scott Shackouls
Scott Shackouls is the Chief Investment Officer for Bluestem Equity where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments as well as providing ongoing oversight to Bluestem’s existing portfolio of investments. Prior to joining Bluestem, Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer for Sage Rental Services, The Johnny Carrabba Family of Restaurants, TRCW, and T-Rex Engineering & Construction. He began his career working in various roles at Amegy Bank and Encore Bank.
Scott graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Corporate Finance.

Ben Tucker
Ben Tucker is the Vice President of Business Development for Bluestem Equity where he is responsible for the sourcing and vetting of all potential investments.
Prior to joining Bluestem, Ben worked at Mustang Cat in various roles throughout the entire organization.
Ben has a bachelor’s degree in business from Louisiana State University and a master’s in finance from the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Ben also serves on the board of several of Bluestems’ portfolio companies.

Kurt Hanson
Kurt Hanson is the Sr. Vice President & Chief Legal Officer for Bluestem Equity. Kurt oversees all legal functions for Bluestem and its portfolio companies, including enterprise risk, banking relationships, and integration into the Bluestem systems. Prior to joining Bluestem Equity, Kurt was the VP and General Manager of Mustang Cat’s Power System divisions, where he also served as head of Mustang Cat’s legal, credit and human resources departments.
Kurt has a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. He enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, golf and spending time with family and friends (especially on Galveston Bay).

Michaela Lenderman
Michaela Lenderman is the Integration Analyst for Bluestem Equity, managing operations and building positive company culture within Bluestem and the different companies in its portfolio.
Michaela graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Stephen F Austin State University but found her way into the Construction Machinery Sales Industry post-graduation.
Michaela came to Bluestem with three years of operational experience after she served as the Operations Supervisor for Mustang Rental Services of Texas, where she became well versed in process analysis and excellence standards.
Integration Analyst

Morgan Nathan
Morgan Nathan is the Bluestem Equity Controller. Morgan oversees the financial reporting for Bluestem Equity’s investments and prepares their consolidated financial statements. Morgan joined the Bluestem Equity team after a career in Public Accounting. She has over three years of experience as an Audit Manager and is an expert in Internal Controls.
Morgan earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University of College Station, Texas. She is an active member of various community and educational organizations. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and experiencing new cultures and places.
